Professional & Self-Paced Flight Training

JWA provides structured Part 61 training in a fleet of 13 traditional and state of the art aircraft. In Bolingbrook we offer Light Sport, Private Pilot, Instrument and High-Performance ratings.


College-Bound – enroute to a Part 141 University

  • Since the 1970’s our location has sent newly graduated High School students off to University with their Private Pilot License (PPL). College-Bound students are a large part of our business - we train around 100 students year-round specifically to equip them with a great head start on their airline careers.

Self-Paced Training

  • Traditional Self-Paced flight training is available for Light Sport, Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, and CFI ratings. Financing is also available for these ratings.



  • Career pilots wishing to remain local can attain their ratings at JWA using the self-paced path, with a trade-off in completion time and potential for slightly increased cost due to the increased learning time.
